A Compact High Density Mobile Storage System can often make very efficient use of a storeroom in that only one access aisle might be provided over a 5 metre area. Rapini mobile units are fitted with waist high handles, and 125mm castors to ensure that safe and easy movement of a mobile unit can be activated in such a way as to comply with OH&S requirements.

Additionally, there is an extensive range of accessories such as ledges to prevent items falling off the shelves, dividers, baskets, label holders etc. to make the Static shelving unit more complete.

compactor, compacting mobile storageWhen additional space isn't an option and you want to maximize the space you have, then the simple but powerful answer is "Rapini's In-Line High Density Compact Storage System" mounting two specially designed overhead tracking rails, which are mounted on the static units. Any number of mobile units can then be installed to run along the tracking rails between the two static units. This system increases your storage space by up to 35%.

The Rapini In-Line High Density Compact Storage System is a free standing system that can be relocated at any time and does not require any drilling into walls or floors. The In-Line tracking system carries part of the mobile unit weight on top and part on the bottom wheels. The system is modular, so you can add or delete mobile units, adjust the height between shelves and there is a large selection of shelf widths and depths.

The In-Line tracking system prevents the normal jarring and skewing which is associated with the guide rail systems and prevents back, shoulder and arm injuries caused by pushing heavy mobile units. The system is occupational, health and safety friendly, and complies with Hospital Standard AS4187 relative to Infection Control.
